If The Tragedy of Hamlet, Prince of Demark had been written today perhaps the Sweet Prince would say, �There are more things in the cost of production, Horatio, than are covered by your ticket price.�* It is often said that tickets sales only cover 40% of the cost of running a theater. Sadly, this is true. To keep Burien Little Theatre alive and vibrant we look to the community for support.
Burien Little Theatre is a not-for-profit (IRS 501(c)(3)) entity. We are staffed by volunteers. So, 100% of your tax-deductible contribution goes toward the production of the highest quality better live theater, our day-to-day costs and capital improvements.
We depend upon the kindness of strangers and friends. To survive we need good old cash, in-kind donations, and volunteers. Burien Little Theatre is beginning its 27th season, and Burien�s 52nd year of community theater. Today is the time for you to become part of the community in community theater by sending us as little as $5.00 or enough to buy the house next door to Bill Gates. The amount you send is not as nearly as important as the fact you make a donation and become a supporter.
